MissionThe Center for Juvenile Justice Reform advances a balanced, multi-systems approach to reducing juvenile delinquency that promotes positive child and youth development, while also holding youth accountable. How We Fulfill Our Mission The Center serves as a national resource in identifying and highlighting research on effective policies and practices that reduce delinquency by working across juvenile justice, child welfare and related systems of care. The Center sponsors symposia and papers developed from a cross systems perspective on cutting edge issues and conducts Certificate Programs and other trainings to help build a field of strong leaders devoted to reform. CJJR also serves as a National Resource Bank member that represents prosecutors in the MacArthur Foundation's Models for Change Initiative. Further, in partnership with Casey Family Programs, the Center is implementing a practice model for working with crossover youth in jurisdictions around the country.
