Area of focus
As a member of the National Resource Bank, CJJR is focused on supporting the active participation of prosecutors in the Models for Change Initiative. This support includes providing training and technical assistance to prosecutors within the four core states, as well as disseminating information and providing outreach to prosecutors nationally on the Models for Change reform efforts.
Strategies | Services
The Center's activities in the Models for Change initiative include:
- Supporting the active participation of prosecutors in the MfC juvenile justice reform efforts underway in the four primary states by serving as a convener to these prosecutors and providing a prosecutorial voice within the National Resource Bank
- Providing training and technical assistance on key policy and program
areas to the prosecutors involved in the MfC initiative
- Disseminating information and provide outreach to prosecutors nationally regarding the Models for Change initiative and its underlying principles.
- Encouraging participation by public agency officials within the MfC sites and from other jurisdictions committed to reform in the Center's Certificate Programs.
