Dear Colleagues,
In these past weeks, we at CJJR have had the privilege of communicating with leaders in the youth-serving field all across the United States who are managing and responding to this unprecedented pandemic. The commitment of these individuals to ensure the safety of youth, families, staff and communities during this extraordinarily challenging time—all while navigating new realities in their own personal lives—is nothing short of remarkable. For all those working in the field, please know that your efforts are recognized and deeply appreciated.
As you know, our mission at CJJR has always been to support leaders to improve the lives of youth and families. Given the amount of information available regarding COVID-19 and its impact on the youth-serving field, we thought it would be helpful to compile a targeted list of resources that juvenile justice and child welfare practitioners and partners can reference as they manage the crisis at hand. As the current situation evolves and additional resources are developed, we will update this list and continue to collaborate with our partner organizations to support the field.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or requests for assistance. Take care.
Sincerely,
Michael Umpierre
