Kellie McManamon

Research Assistant

Kellie McManamon joined CJJR in January 2021 as a research assistant. Currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Policy at Georgetown University, Kellie also doubles as a community organizer and non-profit cofounder back in her hometown of Simi Valley, CA. In her role as a research assistant, Kellie works alongside the Certificate Program team to support the operation of training and research projects. Before moving to the nation’s capital, Kellie graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a BA in Communication and Sociology. While her initial research focused on gender equality and reproductive justice, she has transitioned her academic focus to incarceration and policing reform.
