Jill Adams

Senior Fellow

Jill Adams was the Deputy Director of Certificate Programs at CJJR. In her current role as Senior Fellow, Jill provides support and guidance to the Certificate Program team at the Center.

Prior to managing CJJR’s training portfolio Jill worked across agencies in NYC to develop citywide protocols and improve collaboration and outcomes for dually involved youth, and she is herself a Multi-System Integration Fellow. Before working with CJJR, Jill led the development and operation of legal trainings at a large Continuing Legal Education provider in New York, and her background also includes work with the New York Legal Assistance Group, DC Superior Court, Washington College of Law Criminal Justice Clinic, and Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.

Jill holds an M.A. in Policy Management from Georgetown and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Delaware. She currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband, 3 children, and puggle.
