Dr. christian h. bijoux serves as the Deputy Director of Community Development and Enhancement, where he leads strategic initiatives to cultivate vibrant, equitable, and thriving communities. With a deep commitment to empowering underserved and marginalized populations, chris oversees the development and implementation of innovative programs that prioritize sustainable growth, cross-sector collaboration, and community engagement.

Dr. bijoux has extensive experience in advancing impactful solutions through his leadership in program design, organizational capacity building, and community-based initiatives. He previously directed the Dually Involved Youth Initiative in Santa Clara County, California, where he successfully championed reforms to enhance outcomes for youth and families. His earlier work with the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services involved spearheading community engagement efforts and developing workshops focused on organizational and community equity and justice.

An accomplished academic and practitioner, dr. bijoux has contributed to the field as an adjunct professor, teaching topics related to social policy and community systems. His educational background includes a doctorate in Social Policy from the Heller School of Social Policy at Brandeis University, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Health Policy and Management at Drexel University School of Public Health. These qualifications underpin his holistic approach to addressing complex community challenges while advancing inclusive development and meaningful partnerships.
